How is everybodies numbers looking this year? We already found a few flocks and we are not even looking yet, definetly looking good this year.

Well the goose numbers seem down this way. Teal are coming in preety good on the bigger lakes. I got a spot picked for opening day goose. And teal opens 2 or 3 weeks after that and i think ive got permission for a good spot. Theres a good number of woodies in the swamps. And mallard and ringneck numbers look good. Coots are the most abundant thing around my parts rite now. :ohmy:. Hopefully itll get cooler soon. There was a nice front that came through this weekend and hopefully thatll get them birds out.

I have also noticed not much in the way of resident birds compared to what I was seeing last year.

more and more birds coming down with this cold front. The past week nights have been below freezing.
