Had a great opening day, 4 limits of mallards by 7:20 in a very dense fog. All we had to do was sit in our blinds, we would hear their wings over us, then moments later they would appear 15 yards out. Poor for video though, most of the birds were shot when we were either just leaving our blinds to pick up dead birds or on our way back, I think we may have shot more standing on the edge than we did in our blinds:

Looks like you guys had a pretty good opener. Our Opener is Saturday. We had a cold front last week and tons of rain this week and the birds have really been showing up lately.

Nah, different spot. I wish I could say it was tough conditions, but it literally could not have been easier, the ducks just appeared out of the fog, we couldn't keep them off. But as we all know that is not the case everytime.

Good work Andrew. I didm't see one mallard around today or yesterday. Lots of teal sticking around, and gadwals.
