Ours hasn't been going very well at all since opening day on the 17th I have shot 2 mallards a teal and a wigeon. I hope everyone else's season is going better.

Season has been going great for me.  My dad and I have taken over 175 birds and do not show any signs of slowing down.  I know now why I do what I do when fall rolls around!

In that one pic I'm pretty sure I see a Eurasion Widgeon and what appears to be a black duck? Maybe it's just the lighting in the picture?

    What you are seeing is in fact a drake Eurasian Wigeon I usually see a couple every year.

Oh sorry! I think It's just weird lighting on a Wigeon. Alhough the only black duck I have ever seen was in a zoo Avairy, I'm no Black duck expert. Do you guys shoot alot of them in your neck of the woods?

i use to see alot of black ducks in virginia. But it seems everywere else they are very rare.
