I would say it would be a toss up between a Friday hunt with my Brother and I or a 7 man hunt where we limited out!  I throw up pictures and you guys decide what you would want most!

My brother and I's limit, to let you know majority of those "Brown or Gray" ducks are Gaddies.  We killed 2 of the most pretty drake Gadwall ever!  A pair comes in about 30, We say under our breath "I got right, You got Left"  BOOM, both at the same time, 2 birds hit at same time and fall 3 in. from each other!

This was taken by a cell phone, 42 birds exact!  Huge mix of ducks consisting of mallards, pintail, widgeon, gadwall, teal, and shovelors!

Thanks for looking,

Hunter

Going to have to figure out how to get pictures working on here, I'll work on it and post up directions on the General Discussion board. Sounds like some great hunts though, Hunter!

I had a field that was loaded with geese. I called every person I knew no one wanted to go. so I met some guys on the foiles forum they come down at 5 am we pull up to the field and the birds were out there already. So they want to sneak up and wait for the sun I said no I want a full limit.we waited till 730 then ran em off with a 4 wheller and put out 100 dekes and shot or limit by 815 it was sweet. an 11 yr old shot his first bird.

We had a hunt and it had 15,000 on it mostly canadas prolly 2 or 3,000 mallards and some out of stater got it so we went to a field acrosss the roost and they left their rig IN THE DRIVE  WAY TO THE FIELD so we pulled all of the birds off to us and got our limit and burried atv getting there     and then we went and told the out of staters what happened and they said that they FORGOT  their rig

My son and I, along with two family friends and their sons went to Swan

Lake MN for the Youth Waterfowl hunt in Mid-September. It was my son's first time with a gun in the boat, so needless to say he was excited. Wielding a single shot break action 20 gauge was truly like heaven on earth to him.  We set up early...there were literally about 15-20,000 ducks using the lake, (is was quite the show the Friday evening when we arrived!) primarily blue-winged teal and wooducks with mallards to boot.

We set about 4 dozen decoys, (a mix of teal and mallards) with 18 goose floaters. All blinded up, spirits were high and fingers were itching.

At day break, a group of mallards soared directly into the decoys. Telling my son to shoot when they were just about to land, of course he let them land. I got up and scared the ducks off the water, and all 3 kids missed 9 mallards at 15 feet with a total of 6 shots fired. Spirits remained unbroken. With no shotgun in tow, I had the pleasure of doing all the calling, and by the end of the day I was exhausted.

The ducks simply never stopped. I honestly can say in my 16 years of waterfowl hunting I had never seen a spectacle like this, as I had never hunted over water this early in the year. Groups of 50-60 teal were diving over head much like an F-16 losing altitude, and the sound was spot on. All in all, my son, with a single shot 20 gauge shot 32 times with no duck in the boat. Motoring off the lake (unwillingly) his smile had persisted through all his misses. Back at the dock he looked at me and said, "Thanks dad, this was one of the best days of my life."

It puts it in perspective.  No ducks, but this, to the boys, was hardly the point. I try to remember this when I come home from a day on the water or in the field.

That is truly a hunt I will never forget.
