Andrew,

You may have seen this, but someone is selling a Sony VX2100 prograde video camera on the Avery message board.  Don't know what your camera needs are at this point, but this looks like a decent deal.

Were in the process of saving up for another camera, but not quite there yet!

NIce,

I am thinking about filming my turkey hunt here this spring as well!

Fair warning, it's quite a challenge. It's all about being in the right place at the right time and a little luck. I learned last year that the odds are against you when it comes to setting up and having the birds come in to where it's easy to film.

For filming, your best bet would be to get on a field hunt with a full strut decoy, it keeps them occupied enough to where you can get good footage and the the field makes it easy to do so. I tried filming in the timber on multiple occasions last year and each time the birds came to where it was easy for the shooter to get a shot but not so easy for the cameraman to do so without spooking the birds...well see what we can do this year though.

Good Luck!
