We've been kicking around the idea here for a couple weeks of, taking the video camera along to all the contests this summer and putting together a documentary style video of contest calling, the life of a contest caller, the travel, etc...

Sound interesting at all?

Would you buy it?

that is something different never seen that before, but it would be interesting for the people who dont go to contests to see what its really like and the fun stuff there missing out on

Yea like video people in the bullpen and when they get done calling and get back and there face is red from calling.Haha sounds like a good video. Maybe show the caller practicing up to the event too. I am just throwing ideas out.

those are really good ideas i think cody, i know there is alot of behind the scense to comp calling, not just up on stage.. and then once you get done there is all the anticipation of how you did and then the second guessing when you here other people..

Yea there is alot that goes on leading up to an event. Maybe show like people setting up a calling contest and all the vendors that come to these things. Yea justin I know I have been practicing 1 1/2 every night for a contest that is 2 weeks away but thats what you have to do to get better. Practice, Practice, Practice is the name of the game when it comes to comp. calling.

yeah i know that one ive only done one contest but i plan on hitting up quite a few more this year, hey cody i sent you a Pm on the Avery forum

I am always wanting so see something different so that would be cool. I always like on the fallin skies and duck commander videos when they show the stuff they do when they are not hunting. So contest calling could be a cool thing.

Basically anything we can find that is within a day's drive or a pretty major event were going to try to make.

Everytime you post up about IWA it makes me feel worse and worse. From what I heard 2008 was better than when I went in '07 and 2009 will no doubt be better, hopefully the trend will continue and I can make it next year. I'm sure well meet up sometime this year though, the midwest contest scene is huge.
