I had the opportunity to get after a decent variety of divers this season, and I have to say my favorite are Goldeneyes, I love how they will readily decoy to 6 goldeneye dekes and I just love how they come in. What's everyone's favorite?

Late season I hunt divers in Northern Minnesota. Typically, the bluebils come through with the redheads. There are days when it is thick with both of them. I would have to say these are my two favorites!

You hit a soft spot for me with this diver stuff..lol. It differs from year to year what kind of birds we get a lot of down here and when. This year we got a lot of ringnecks for some reason. My favorite would have to be Buffleheads and Canvasbacks. Buffies are just plain fun to shoot while Cans are a huge challenge and are a TOUGH bird!! Typically, when diver hunting, I like a variety and shoot whatever comes in. My display picture is a 2 man limit of 11 buffies and a redhead..from 2 seasons ago.
